Simple to Use:

ENTiVA is controlled by a tablet pc (personal computer) with a touchscreen interface. The screen shows a different icon for each function and to use the system you simply touch the icon of the function you wish to use with the pen tool. A tablet pc is just like a laptop, has a full keyboard and can be used just like a normal pc. The difference is that the screen can be folded down and is sensitive to touch as well as using a mouse.

The first time you use ENTiVA, you will be asked to register (for warranty) and create a username and password. For security, whenever you switch on the system you will be asked to enter this password. You will also be given an ENTiVA email address and telephone number for use with the email and VOIP functions.

ENTiVA requires a wireless connection to enable all of its features – so if you are in a wireless area – such as a caravan park with their own network – then the system will use this. If you are travelling or parked somewhere without a wireless network, the system will connect using the USB dongle. Either way – the system will decide automatically – you don’t need to change anything.

Once connected, use the touchscreen controller to choose the function you wish to use and ENTiVA will go straight to it. Whatever you choose will be displayed on your TV screen unless you ask it to stay on the tablet pc controller only. This means that you can use the controller like a normal PC and you can use the TV like a normal TV at the same time – giving you the best of both worlds.
